5TPH Layer Poultry Mash Feed Production Line in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Project Background

In August 2024, we successfully delivered a mash feed production line in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The client, a layer poultry cooperative, mainly supplies eggs to the local market. Since layer hens require balanced mash feed to maintain egg production, the client decided to invest in a medium-scale feed production line to reduce feed costs and improve farming efficiency.

Configuration

We designed and installed a fully automated 5TPH layer poultry mash feed production line, with the main configuration including:

Raw material cleaning equipment (pre-cleaning sieve to remove impurities)

Grinder (ensures fine particle size for better digestion and absorption by layers)

Twin-shaft paddle mixer (efficient mixing of raw materials and micro-additives)

Pulse dust removal system (keeps the workshop clean and minimizes dust pollution)

Automatic packing scale (25kg/50kg bagging for convenient sales and transportation)

Intelligent control system (automated operation for easier management and monitoring)

Customer Benefits

The production line was commissioned in September 2024, with a stable output of 5 tons per hour, reaching over 100 tons per day. The client reported that the mash feed was uniform with excellent mixing quality, significantly improving egg production rate and shell strength. In addition, by reducing reliance on external feed suppliers, the feed cost per ton decreased by around 12%, greatly enhancing the cooperative’s competitiveness in the market.
