5TPH Cattle Feed Pellet Production Line

Project Background

In July 2025, we successfully delivered a cattle feed pellet production line in Nairobi, Kenya. The client, a local livestock farming company, sought to reduce feed purchasing costs and improve nutritional standards and feed stability by building their own feed mill. Their requirements included high capacity, stable operation, high automation, and user-friendly operation for local staff.

Configuration

We provided a fully automated 5TPH cattle feed pellet production line, including:

SFSP series grinder (efficient grinding, improved raw material utilization)

Twin-shaft paddle mixer (fast and uniform mixing)

Ring die pellet mill (high output, suitable pellet density)

Counterflow cooler (uniform cooling, reduced pellet breakage)

Vibrating screener (removes fines, ensures quality)

Bucket elevator + screw conveyor (automatic material transfer)

Automatic packing scale (precise bagging for sales and storage)

Intelligent control system (automated operation for easier management and monitoring)

Customer Benefits

The production line was commissioned in August 2025, achieving a stable output of 5 tons of cattle feed pellets per hour, with an annual capacity exceeding 30,000 tons. The client reported that the pellets were dense and nutritionally uniform, significantly improving cattle intake. Moreover, the automation and intelligent system reduced labor dependency, saving around 25% in operating costs and greatly enhancing business competitiveness.
